How do I take my alternator case apart? I want to paint it!

How do I take my alternator case apart? I want to paint it!
Any links to a how-to? I know I need to pull the pulley... anything to watch for?

In about 10 days I will be swapping mine out. The one on my car has a bent shaft. If you want, you can toss me the shipping cost and I will ship it out to you. This should allow you to take it apart and find out how difficult it is. When your done finding out, just toss it in the trash for me..
