Wiring diagram for 5-wire MAF?
Anyone have a wiring diagram for the 5-wire MAF? I'm running an open loop speed density tune and I would like to remove my MAF completely but to do that I need to put in a seperate IAT sensor. Not sure which of the 5 wires actually go to the IAT inside my MAF right now. Any help would be much appreciated! Also anyone know where I can get an IAT sensor for cheap?

Purple and tan wires are IAT.
Purple is 5v reference, tan is signal to PCM. It doesn't matter which is which when splicing in the new sensor connector, as the sensor is not polarity sensitive.

Bringing an old thread back to life, this is great info. One question, I'm doing this exact thing right now can since I'm only needing the Purple/Tan wires what do I do with the others? Can I just coil them up back at the firewall?

5 wire maf
I have a 6.0 ls1 in my 71impala... I got a maf from a 2004 Cadillac Deville that's actually the same as the one I need I cut off the plug with it but it is a 5 wire plug I do know that the pink is for ignition, the two black are for ground and the yellow for the maf to the Pcm but I don't know where the tan wire goes can ANYONE HELP
