Default Help, Car won't start!

I tried researching my problem on here but didn't have much luck. It rained pretty hard the last few days, and my windows were a little fogged up. I just got the car a few months ago, the carpet doesnt feel wet, but the headliner does a little. Anyways, i went to start it today and it wouldnt turn over. Display said "service engine soon" "reduced engine power" "low fuel".. I disconnected the battery for a few mins, went to start the car, and it fires for like a second but shut right off..I pulled up the diagnostic codes and got the following:
10 PCM - No Comm
28 TCS - No Comm
38 RTD - No Comm
40 BCM - No Comm
60 IPC - No Comm
80 Radio - No Comm
99 HVAC - No Comm
A0 LDCM - No Comm
A1 RDCM - No Comm

Anybody have any ideas how to get it started.. i tried pressing reset with the codes up but they dont go away..And my car wont start still

You are going to think Im pulling your leg but:

Open BOTH doors. Grab the black rubber accordion tube and feel the two wiring harnesses inside. Pinch them between your fingers and shake the crap out of them. Do that to both of them.

Try to start the car.

Bet it works!!!

Bill probably has it pegged OR he's pulling an April Fool's joke on you

If that doesn't work, remove the panel on the passenger side footwell and look in there with a flashlight and see if any water got into the fuse box.

If everything looks dry and still not working disconnect the battery for 30 minutes. Reconnect the battery and walk away and go do something for another 15 minutes. Don't open/close any doors or press any FOB buttons. Then see if that gets you anywhere....

Yea,,,,thats another very good idea. I forgot about all the RAIN everyone is having. Either way, its a serial buss issue.

Thanks for the back up!

Did you test the battery voltage with a meter? Did you follow Bill's suggestion?

i put a meter on the battery and its barely in the "replace" zone lol.. I pulled both door "accordians" and wiggled the plugs around and nothing.. I think i'm gonna try and get a new battery..

Do I Have to Clear the codes tho before the car will start after i put a new battery in?

You do not have to clear the DTCs but,,,,it always a good idea. Connecting the battery in its self will throw random DTCs. If you clear the DTCs after the battery is properly connected, you will know it the DTCs that pop up are being caused by a problem vise random reasons.

Battery cable need to be TORQUED to 11 ft/lbs to be properly connected.

You need to use a DVM or Digital Volt Meter otherwise an older analog meter. You need to see at least 12.5vdc static voltage across the battery with the ignition turned off. Anything less than that, things are not going to work, such as the computers.

okay, i removed the battery and charged it for almost 2 hrs.. it was reading well over 12v..Still nothing..Key fob doesnt work, same msgs/codes, no interior light, car fires once but dies
I was reading about a simliar problem with a ground (particularly 106), im thinking maybe one got knocked loose the other night, there were some lake-like puddles with down pour..

All the NO COMMS issues told me he was having the common shorted/compromised serial data wire issues. Had him examine the LDCM & RDCM wiring harnesses and seat control module (SCM) He did not find any thing out of the ordinary. Had him disconnect the Class II Serial Data STAR connection for the LDCM/RDCM & SCM.

BAM,,,car started. He wiggled the connector for the SCM and then reconnected the STAR Connector. The problem is no longer happening. He’s going to follow up with those harnesses and connectors.
