Default 99 FRC No high beams

I was driving home last night and had my headlights on and when i pushed the lever forward my headlights went out.
I switched back to my low beams and the came back on, i did this a couple more times wiggling the switch and nothing,no high beams and no high beam indicator on the dash.
If i pull the lever toward me the low beam and high beams come on including the high beam indicator light on the dash but no high beam indicator light or high beam lights in the high beam only position.
Any ideas where to start looking for problems?

Sounds like an issue with the multifunction switch. Search "multifunction" and you will have lots of reading.

12 volts from the MFS goes directly to the high beam indicator in the instrument cluster.
