Default Racing Slicks on a C5

Has anybody tried running slicks on their C5? If so what tires and rims did you use. I would like to try a set of Hoosiers new slicks.

I've seen a few with Camaro/Firebird 16" wheels and E.T. Streets.

I am looking at getting CCW setup. 16" rims and Hoosier now has some 16" SLICKS that fit on them. Search for a post under "hoosier" or racewheel screen name. There is a nice pic of the setup.

ET Streets are not slicks, they don't hook much better than a drag radial,ET Drags are slicks but they only come in 15-inch sizes.

I'm running the 28 inch Hoosiers now. I went to the track Saturday to do some testing on the new Engine. It was still pretty cold, but ran a couple of 1.61 and 1.64 60 ft. I don't have my car algined yet for my new setup, but was happy with the 60 ft on a cold track. I'm just running N/A until I get it tuned, then I will Spray it. I'm running lean and 10 degrees of KR. It only run a couple of 11.40s @ 119. I have the LS1 edit now and will get it tuned soon.
The ETs and Drag Radials work fine on well preped tracks, I have to deal with bad tracks, so I figure if I can get traction on the bad tracks, Look out if I ever get on a good track  .
