Default LS2 PS Pulley Install Question With Pics

I've removed my A&A 8-rib pulley setup, and I am in the process of putting the stock pulleys back on. I had to order a new pulley for the power steering pump. When I pressed the new ls2 (2005 c6) pulley on it bottomed out to where I couldn't turn it. Is there a bearing or something that goes behind it?

I backed it off to sit flush with the shaft, and it seems fine. I just want to make sure I'm not missing a fastener to keep it on or a bearing to keep it from bottoming out. It has been a while since I messed with this.

Based on the pictures, it appears you have pressed the pulley on too far. Refer to your service manual, but if I recall correctly, the hub of the pulley should be flush with the pump shaft.

What's that wiring harness hanging down by the balancer pulley on the LS3?

Most likely the pigtail for the camshaft sensor.

Thanks. It looks right with it flush. Hard to believe you aren't suppose to bottom it out, and there is no fastener to keep it in place. The alternator has both.
