Recently replaced my water pump.

Can you please post a close up shot of your water pump snout?

Why the concern? Very difficult to determine anything from an out of focus picture....and it may vary, depending if the pump is GM or aftermarket. Your best bet is to mark the pully shaft, and take a measurement from the back of the pulley to a place on the engine. If the measurement changes or the mark is distorted after running.....you know there is an issue.

Thanks lucky. That was already in the works.
I was concerned if the half inch nipple came out further as it looks like two pieces from the bell.
It is an ac Delco "pro"

finally found a pic and it looks the same.

The way it is manufactured it is a smaller section going into the housing. I was use to seeing it flush.
