Default Cam install; before and after numbers?

I'm wanting to install a cam and would like to know what your hp was after the cam install? I'm talking about a bolt on car with a cam. Also list what cam you used to get that power. Cams make my head spin so I'm trying to narrow down my options. Thanks

Depends on what cam you go with.

Large cams will give you more peak HP. Moderate Tq gain. Really great on road courses where your in the high RPM range all the time. They sound great too ! Requires a little more tuning expertise to get them drivable.

Medium sized cams will give you a good HP increase but will give you more of a torque gain over large cam's. More drivable all around. More usable power for regular driving. Easier on the valve train components too.
