Default Water In Fuel Tanks

Is there a way to completely drain the gas tanks on a 99 C5 without pulling the entire tanks out? I dont want want to use the fuel pump to drain them as it might actually be going bad already.
TIA

Sure just remove both sending units from each tank then siphon the rest with a hose from the bottom of the tanks.

Might want to also reach up inside the hole and wipe things as clean as possible inside the tank with some clean toweling.
