Default Headliner?

Will a headliner from a painted top work in a tinted top? I've never seen a painted top so I have no clue how it fits. So I hope it is not to dumb of a question?

Thanks
Mark

The headliner for a painted top is installed with a pressure sensitive adhesive. I doubt it would look very nice when used on a glass top.
There are products available that would probably look nicer.

My tinted glass or whatever it is made of top has no liner, that is the reason for the tinted glass top is to be able to see out and in. They do make a liner of sorts that blocks the sun U can get from most any vette vendor.

Guess I left out one important thing. My top is peeling its protective coating and looking pretty bad. So I was thing of just painting it the color of the car.

I guess that is an option, do they make a paint that will stick to the top material? That would be my only concern.

You might try to refinish it. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c5-tech/2020059-targa-top-refinsh-how-to.html

That is EXACTLY what I was going to recommend!

Its isn't difficult and will allow you to retain the clear top.

Give the refinishing a try. What will you loose?
