Default B&M Auto Trans Pan

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/bmm-70260

I would like to use this trans pan for my 2000 A4 Vert.
Does anyone have any experience with the fit, clearance, etc
of this pan???
It says it is supposed to fit. B & M 70260.

I would like to add a little bit of fluid capacity and a little bit of
extra trans cooling to the car.
Thanks

I called B&M.. they said it won't fit.. But
I am pretty sure I've seen someone here using it...

Maybe it's another brand perhaps ???
Any suggestions on a quality pan replacement that fits my needs??

I have these type cast alum pans on my trucks and other hot rods and they work great.
Just dont know about fitment issues on the C5 platform.
Any suggestions ??

The C5 uses a unique trans pan for a couple reasons. First is that you actually fill the trans through the pan and second, the trans has a filter on it that has an extension. The stock pan has a deeper center sump for the filter extension.

Is there a good aftermarket "cooling" type pan with added fluid capacity for
the C5 applications??

I have found a pan from a company called PML
Looks like several resellers on the interwebs for this pan for
about $211.
Anyone use this?

At that price it's cheaper to add a cooler at the front of the car than a deeper pan that's next to the hot exhaust pipes.
