Fuel gauge Gremlins
Howdy, Forum...
I have an interesting (exasperating) issue going on with my fuel gauge. The car will go about 300 miles on a tank, and I always reset the trip odometer when I fill the tank. I always use Chevron Supreme. Even after putting over 200 miles on the car, the fuel gauge reads between 1/2 and 3/4. I know this is not accurate. When I fill the tank, it takes almost 10 minutes for the gauge to register as full. I have added Techron at the last two fill ups, and it has not helped. Does it sound like the sending unit, or possibly a ground issue, or even the float in the tank? I checked the codes on the DIC, and there are none. Any thoughts?
