Default Tire question

I have a 97 vette. I just got a good deal on a set of 17x9.5 and 17x10.5 replica wheels.
Looking at the toyo tire the sizes I see would be 255-40-17 on front. And 315-35-17. Will these tires. Work on my car? I have spacers on rear of car now. Running a 285-35-19 on rear and 245-40-18 on front

Are you sure that the backs are 17"? All of the replica wheels I have seen are 18" rears, just like the stock Z06 rims are. If they are indeed 17", your front tires will be larger in diameter than the rears. Not sure if your 97 has active handling, but on cars that do, this configuration will cause all sorts of error messages., since the system expects the rear tires to be larger in diameter than the fronts. Also, I believe that the 315 width will stick outside the wheel well slightly with a stock offset. I have 305's on my car and they are flush with the fender. Finally, check and make sure that Toyo recommends a minimum 10.5 wheel for this size tire. Most tires in that width require a 11" minimum width wheel.

Lol. Boxes got wet. And now falling apart. I think these will look better on my all silver vette. Then the black 18-19's on it now
