Default Spark Plugs

Changed plugs and wires this weekend on my 2000 Coupe.
Installed AC/Delco 41-962 and MDS 8.5 wires.
When I removed the previous plugs 5 holes had AC/Delco R44LTSM plugs and the other 3 had AutoliteXP 5245
Any ideas as to why the previous owner would put in these plug combination

Car had a misfire so they only changed the suspecting plugs--For best performance all the plugs should be the same part # and brand---Mostly because there is a variance in heat ranges between brands of similar plug applications---- I'm sure they were all gapped similarly--but more important is having the exact same heat range in all 8 cylinders-

All the plugs looked good no fouling evident. Dont know if the Autolites are a hotter plug put in for issue

Maybe the last guy just changed the easy ones.
Its tempting on my C4.
The back two on the right are a pain to get to. And all the wires on the left are a Pain in the A _ _. Oh yes and the fuel filter.

YES! STUPIDITY & LAZYNESS! Its just PAIN WRONG and there should NOT be any doubt in your mind that they should all be ONE brand and all the same plug! PERIOD!

Make it correct and DRIVE ON!

What else is MICKEY MOUSED????

Corvette Spark Plug Set, 8 pieces, ACDelco Iridium LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6 Engines Only

Keep your C5 Corvette all GM and tuned up with our AC Delco Spark Plugs for 1997-2004 Chevrolet C5 Corvettes and 2005-2013 C6 Corvettes. These Iridium Spark Plugs are the latest evolution in spark plug technology and serve as a upgrade over the platinum plugs your 1997-2004 C5 left the assembly line with.

Our 1997-2013 Corvette ACDelco Iridium Spark Plugs feature:

Smaller more efficient electrode design
Improved cold starting
Quicker acceleration
Increased spark energy with decreased load on the ignition coil
Pre gapped correctly at .040 inch

ACDelco iridium spark plugs are the latest evolution in high performance plugs. The natural properties of iridium, with a melting point of approximately 700 degrees Celsius higher than platinum, help enable the plugs to burn fuel more efficiently and to deliver better performance. As a result, the iridium plugs have a minimum service life of 100,000 miles (service life varies with individual driving conditions.) Since iridium is one of the densest materials found on earth, the iridium-tipped center electrode is half the size of a platinum electrode, and 1/5 the size of a conventional nickel electrode. The secondary micro-discharge of the center electrode burns off carbon deposits as they form. This provides superior anti-fouling performance that, along with the tapered cut-ground electrode, offers enhanced flame spread during combustion. The specially designed electrodes increase the electric field strength at the gap, reducing the voltage required for sparking to begin, for improved cold starting and quicker acceleration. The application coverage of ACDelco iridium spark plugs continues to grow, with the plugs being backed by a 100,000-mile limited warranty.

When I was wrenching I was a firm believer in what plugs were required .
Fords= Autolite or Motorcraft // Chrysler = Champion // GM= AC only

Also had people buying from Meijer stores all junk !!!!!!

Could be a number of reasons for the different plugs, but you did the right thing putting AC Delco plugs back in the car.
