TPMS Program Menu won't come up
No codes. Already checked, repowered, and rechecked to ensure nothing set.
Seats are unplugged and out of the car. Wondering if that's enough to cause it to not go to the TPMS Program menu. The Key Fobs programmed just fine, but every time I go back into the programming menu and try to access the TPMS menu by hitting options after program key fob comes up, nothing happens.
Thoughts?

Also noted: SCM shows No Comm which I am presuming is the reason why the TPMS menu won't come up. Strange that it let the Keyless program though.

SCM is the driver side Seat Control Module you removed. Has nothing to do with the TPMS.
Has the TPMS system ever worked for you?
TPMS can be removed using a Tech 2 so that may be the issue if it has never worked.

It worked fine. Upgraded to the 01-04 RCDLR, TPMS, and Fobs. Now menu doesn't come up for TPMS. Fobs programmed fine and keyless/alarm is working as advertised. No blown fuses, no codes.

The general consensus is that the RFA modules are a dumb module and the TPMS enabling and disabling is all done via the BCM option but maybe this isn't really true. Where did the module come from?

FParts/Contemporary Corvette. The salvage yard in PA. I contact him about it already, waiting on a response. From what I've gathered if it's a ZO6 module it won't register anything TPMS related.

Welp, put the seats back in and verified good comm across all serial data lines, so that nothing can possibly be interfering. No dice.
Pulled battery, put back on after about a half hour. No dice.
Not sure what to think here. Maybe these RFA modules aren't as dumb as thought and it knows if it came from a car with TPMS or not (ZO6)?

I have a ZO6 and I ADDED TPMS to the car. BCM, RDCM, LDCM and RFA all worked fine.
All I needed to make the TPMS work was the TECH2 which was used to turn on the TPMS function (RPO) inside the BCM.
97-2000 BCM did not have the capability to turn the TPMS OFF. If your BCM is truly a early BCM, something is wrong with the BCM that does not allow it to process the tire pressure data.
If you are processing the FOB data, the RFA is working.
Do you know anybody with a GM TECH2? That may be the only way to see what the BCM is doing or NOT doing.

Bill Curlee I don't but I'm checking around. Worse comes to worse I'll buy one of the knock off's and look into it myself.
What I don't get is that the system was working FINE before. I stuck new 01-04 GM TPMS in the new wheels last year but didn't put them on until late January, and have driven the car about 20 miles since it all went back together. Yesterday I took out the old RCDLR and put in the new one (GM 10312535). Fobs programmed without issue. TPMS menu won't even come up now. I've reset the BCM, checked over and over for codes, and checked all fuses. Nothing. Not sure what to think at this point. Footwell is dry, no signs of liquids, corrosion, or the like.

To the LEFT of BCM are two thin connectors (STAR CONNECTORS). Find the one with FOUR wires and pop the top shorting connector of the top of the connector. Once the serial data buss for the LDCM, RDCM and SCM are isolated,,,,,, SEE if you can get the TPMS to come up and be programmed.

The BCM has MULTIPLE fuses. Some are supplied by the BATTERY "ALWAYS HOT" buss and some are supplied by the Ignition Switch "HOT in RUN & START" buss.
Recommend that you find ALL the BCM fuses and make sure that they are not blown, are tight in the fuse holder &,,,,,,, verify that there is 100% full battery power on each fuse to chassis ground.
There are two test slots on top of each fuse. Measure both of them to chassis ground.
See if that proves any issues.

The ones to worry about are the Hot In ON and START (ignition switch powered) fuses. Arre they full battery voltage ??

They were reading the same as what my scanner was showing for battery voltage, which was 12.5x (ever so slight variances).

I actually thought of that. But my dumb **** self went and snipped the wires for the old connector right at the connector, then soldered the new connector on. Let me see if I can't work something up to try real quick.

Good news. Just depinned the original connector. It's close enough to a Metripack 150 Terminal that I should be able to repin it with leads and ends to hook to the newly installed one.

Ok, test harness worked:
Hooked in the old RCDLR and was able to access the Train TPMS menu. Unhooked it and left everything unhooked, got Train FOB menu alone. Hooked back in new 01-04 module, still only got Train FOB menu.
