Default need lighter socket removal help

I am wondering how to remove the lighter socket out of the radio bezel. I have the bezel removed. Seems simple but I can't get it out. I do not want to use too much force and break the bezel so I am being cautious at this point.

This might help you:

"Pull the entire assembly out towards the rear of the car. Once the panel comes out you will notice the cigarette lighter connector. The connector has two tabs that go over the housing that must be pried away as the connector is pulled off."

Although I did not need instructions on how to remove the radio bezel, radio and HVAC this tutorial is awesome as I do need to eventually change my flasher. The dash pad removal is a nice touch too. As for the socket it appears mine is stuck. I was trying the same thing. Apparantly the bezel I bought was sitting by itself in a junk yard. If I had known how dirty it was I would have never bought it. I only bothered to ask if it was intact. Oh well. Thanks!

I got it loose. I held a socket on the nut on the back of the lighter and turned the sleeve with some pliers. came right out.
