Selective Ride Control Error Codes after Z06 shock swap
I just replaced my stock 1998 selective ride control shocks with Z06 shocks. Now I have "shocks inoperative," "max speed limited to 80 mph," and "ride control inactive" trouble messages coming up on my dash every 10 minutes.
Does anyone know how I can get rid of these? Is there something that I can plug into the electrical connector that originally went to the shocks? Is there a way I can reprogram the control module to get rid of this?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Selective Ride Control Error Codes after Z06 shock swap (NassauBlue98)
the two things I had to do when I did this swap on my 97 are:
#1 go to dealer and have them turn of the F45 option with a Tech 2.
#2 go to Radio shack and get 4 resistors, put them in the connector that the shocks plug into and use electrical tape to secure them.
Wala, that should do the trick. Email me if you have any more questions. jaugerinos@aol.com

I believe you only have to do one or the other - if you put the resistors in the connectors at each wheel, then you don't have to eliminate the F45 option in the computer.
