put it back together
Got the ecu back from doug at ecs. Installed the vr power duct. What a pita! i received the wrong one from somewhere and i never asked for the right one since it had been so long since i ordered it. I filed open the maf side and plugged the iat hole. Had to freeze the maf and boil the power duct to get it on. I'ts never coming off! Went to swap to a 160* thermostat only to find out my water pump is the newer model. Couldn't wait to drive it after nine days of down time so i just threw the 186* stocker back in. Went for a ride. Very impressed with the tune. It just feels awesome with the headers. I think i am mod cured for a while. ...

Did an oil change today. Had loud valve train noise after last oil change with Royal Purple so I drained it and went back with Mobil 1. Quieted it down a good bit but not like it was before the RP. Now I get to pull the valve covers to see what is going on!
Also finished a display piece I made for myself.

I finished buttoning up the rear end from the trans/clutch swap I started a year ago and installed my new wheels and suspension. I also finished bolting the headers back up. Now I need to get some new hardware for my header-to-X connection to everything there is done. Next I need to get the front up on jackstands and move the ramps to the rear tomorrow if I have time, that way I can tear apart the front for the rest of the JOC suspension, lower Hinson motor mounts, and the new clutch master cylinder. Once I drop the rear onto the ramps and load up the suspension, I'll connect the end links to the sway bar out back.
It'll be nice to fire it back up again

Honestly, if I have the same experience next year I am not sure if a trickle charger is necessary....

Burning Brakes
Started up instantaneously, 2 years in a row and its just some no name brand...took her out for a 10 mile warm up and kept it in lower gears/higher revs to make sure the alternator gave some juice back to the battery.

Washed and cleaned her inside and out...wiped down engine bay, cleaned trunk...touched about everything on her. Only thing I was not able to do is put another coat of carnuba wax on her before leaving. As I pulled into the parking area still had a guy near gate say he wished he could get a car to shine like that.
This car show is the First Wednesday of every month during the warm months (Mar-Nov) at Bessingers BBQ on Savannah Hwy here in Charleston.

Yes Pete... Weld RTS S71's... 18x11.5, MT ETStreetII's... 345/35/18
The front skinnies are loaners from a friend... Like the rears, my fronts had to be custom made by Weld... Expecting those @ the end of the month. Initially, I was going to keep the F14's and have the Welds for racing only... But I liked the look so much I decided to get them for all 4 corners....
