I just bought this a few weeks ago, 25k miles bone stock though. paid 24k. you just cannot beat the prices for these C5Z's! if you can take advantage of it its worth every penny haha.
I'm also getting it cammed+bolt ons in a couple weeks! I came from a full bolt on +cammed 02 Z28 (last summer) and a cam only setup GTO to this car and stock is fun but boring now to me.

Beautiful z06! Congrats and nice find. I'm coming from a 600hp Cobra then I had a stock 01' SLP Camaro SS for a few months, and now my z06.

I've actually contemplated selling my C5Z and getting a 03/04 Cobra. I'm a Ford guy at heart and really don't like much about GM in general...especially the bailout they took from the US govt and never repaid. I came from a 1997 n/a'd Cobra. Curious as to why you sold your Terminator and got a C5Z?

I owned the cobra for a couple years and it was broken down half of that time. I liked it a lot but, the z06 just feels a lot sportier and overall better. I believe for took a bailout also, it wasn't the same amount as Chevy, but they still took a bailout. I'm not brand loyal, I like anything that looks good and is decently fast.

I promise you that Ford did NOT take the gov't bailout a few years ago. Both GM and Dodge did. Ford made it through the Great Recession on their own. I was already a Ford guy prior to that but even more so now!
I do agree with you that the Corvette is overall better. It's just a different car altogether. The Cobra is a great muscle car but the Z06 is a borderline supercar IMO. Were you having problems with it because of mods and an aftermarket tune?

I was in the same boat as you man. Bought an 03 Termi and spent more time working on it than driving it. Being an LS guy at heart I went the same route and bought a C5Z earlier this year.
Pretty sure I remember your user name from SVTP as well. I am currently selling off the remainder of my Termi parts over there right now. Then I am done!
