usually, when checking animals, one would flip it over and look for a 'driver information center'...
however, due to the amount of tender loving care guys usually show their vehicles they have become known as her or she.
gals can call them he, but even then, i normally hear women refer to their cars as she and or her.

I was having this conversation with my daughter today. She said her honda was a boy. I told her that "any boy that had tinkerbell seat covers and floor mats was obviously gay". She said "my car is not gay." " Ok then it must be a transsexual."

Cars definitely have a gender and a personality here's my cars;
2005 C6 Z51 A4 Vert, is like a beautifully sexy girl, sweet curves and a nice smooth ride but she can be a handful when pushed too far.
2002 C5 Z06, is the bad boy of the family always looking to push the limit. Needs to be constantly reigned in and loss of control is always something to be concerned about. Can be quite manageable in the right hands.
1996 C4 Collectors Edition, A very refined lady, likes to be babied and looks good in her red party dress. Somewhat high maintenance to keep her looking good but worth it because she can still give a nice ride.
!982 C3 Collector Edition, The old man of the fleet has seen a lot but still in pretty good shape, has some creaks and groans but can still get it going when necessary, still remembers when they called him the Stingray. Aging well and with a little care from the local Vet doctor this spring, should be ready to strut the stuff old school at the local 4th of July picnic.

Come on guys it's 2007 step out of the stone age... cars can be males, females, ********, asexual, transsexual, homosexual, bisexual, whatever! Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, so game on for those cars! They have the right to choose, and intolerance is not tolerated!

I don't believe I've ever thought about my cars in terms of gender or associated one gender or the other to a specific car. I'd be extremely 'confused' with my C6....I might look at it and think it looks sexy but then I start it and right away, I know it has *****. Oh God, maybe I need counseling.

It is an It. It's name is "Triple Silver"
But, if it had to have a gender, I suppose it would be male 'cause the Manual says it has a DIC.
