Default Pop-up light kit for C6??

Why hasn't anyone developed a pop-up light kit for the C6?? For years mid-america and other retailers offered a fixed light kit to replace pop-ups?? I would love to put pop-ups in my '07.....It would look awesome. Anyone agree?? Has anyone these for sale out there??

I am waiting for someone to come out with a 4 inch wide bias play tire kit like the 60's, that would be great as well..........

You can't reasonably do HIDs in a pop up configuration, and the retrofit costs would be huge (new hood etc). I assume (hope) you are kidding, because it would be a huge step back as well................

Who would want one? Oops...my bad...I guess you already established that.

Just kidding....but seriously....it would be an abomination.

I always thought the fixed lights on the C5 looked weird. I have the same feelings about a pop-up lights on a C6.

They both beg the question, "Why?"

Now, now - remember the cardinal rule. Thou shall not pass judgment on another owner's mods, even if they are BFU. The reason why it hasn't been done is simple - complexity and cost. You couldn't easily put HID's in a pop-up format. It would require a reshaped hood, bumper, and fenders. Sure, if you had an unlimited budget, you could do it. But, given the fact that it would cost thousands of dollars in body mods, paint, and equipment, only a couple of people, maybe, would do it. That's why no kit.

But the C6 already has good brakes. It doesn't need additional airbrakes.

I think I know where I can get you a good deal on a 6-cylinder Blue Flame engine though.

And enough with this frickin' CD changer and navigation nonsense, does anyone make an 8-track tape and CB radio for the C6 yet?
