Do you have this mark on your gas tank door?
I only have 3300 miles on my new 08 Coupe. After only a few visits to the local gas station, I have noticed a very disconcerting mark on my gas tank filler door. I have a Machine Silver C6, and even with that color, I noticed a very distinct vertical mark about 2" long and the width of pencil lead. I believe all of us are dealing with this issue, it's just that most of us haven't noticed it. If you go out and pop your fuel filler door, you will notice that it swings all the way back to hit the trailing edge just in front of the door. This makes an indentation mark on your fuel filler door every time you pop the door open. I have tried to rub it out to no avail. The only solution is to push the fuel filler door release button with your left hand (while standing outside the car), and put your right hand on the filler door to prevent it from hitting the edge just in front of the fuel filler door. Go out and check your car and chime in Please!!!

There's no mark on my fuel filler door (after 30 some odd months).
EDIT: I actually inspected my fuel filler door later in the day....no blemish whatsoever. My fuel filler door does not make contact with the body as your door evidently does. You need to have your fuel filler door adjusted and possibly replaced depending upon the severity of the mark. Good luck.

No mark on my 06 gas filler door after 16 months. I looked at the door and moved it manually and it does not touch the area just in front of the filler door at all. Something on yours is not aligned right.
EDIT: BTW, my filler door makes about a 75° to 80° with the back fender. Yours evidently makes a 90° or better angle with yours.
