Default Battery Change Key Fob

Any quick ideas on how to get the door open for a battery change on the key fob? Would like to stay away from a hacksaw!!! lol lol

A nickel is the perfect thickness to open without damaging....use it on the corner where the slot is and then turn! Be sure to note battery orientation before you remove the old one.

A nickel works best - no damage to the fob!

These fobs are WELL SEALED! You will have to pry like crazy to get the fob open.

When the battery is in place, you will find yourself pushing like crazy to get it ALL the way together. I recommend you do one with the other one standing by for comparison, to be sure you push it all the way closed.

It can be very hard to snap back together. I have tried putting a tiny bit of WD-40 on the gasket, then snap....much easier.
