With purchasing a new Corvette C6, one of the most challenging aspects is choosing a color.

With previous forum questions pertaining to color, many people simply choose the color of which they already purchased. But...have you ever second thoughts and maybe said "I should have purchased ________ color?

Thought I would make it a different twist and ask,


Excluding the color you already own...what would be your second choice of a Corvette Exterior Color

Just look up the production numbers for the last several years and you will have your answer as to which colors are the most popular including second most chosen.

Just yesterday we saw a Jet stream blue C6 and mentioned to my wife that we should have went with that color.

Thanks...yes I understand. But, this Thread is not what the most popular color is.

Think of it as

"If you had the money to purchase a second Corvette C6...which exterior color would you choose"

Or

"I love the color of my current C6, but maybe I should have chosen ______"

My Personal Choice: Thought I own and love my Machine Silver, I have grown to really like the LeMans Blue and Daytona Sunset Orange as close second choices

My favourite C6 color is LMB, (then VR) the 2011 SSB will not change my mind. But pleased to see another option along with JSB.

Back when I ordered my car I had a very tough time deciding between monterey red and lemans blue. If I were to purchase a new vette today it would be a decision between cyber grey and crystal red since monterey red is not available.

I was torn between black and LMB. I chose the fastest color. I voted Black.

I really like the subtleness of Cyber Grey. I guess I'm pretty consistent since my '03 Cobra is Dark Shadow Grey.

It was a tie between M. Silver & Torch Red. Since you didn't include T. Red. It had to be M. Silver........

my favorite color for a vette so far was the Mag red. if they came back with that and a white interior I would trade in my AO vert in an instant.

Curiously, mag red was not included in the poll. No matter, if I couldn't get mag red I always thought Crystal Red Metallic was a close second. There are beautiful Corvettes in virtually every color. I was never keen on the lighter JSB but a man I race with has a gorgeous, modified JSB Z06. The required car numbers, class letters (and the optional Jake decal) are done in a white 'outline' font giving the entire car subtle white accents. It's gorgeous!

I bought my JSB 09 new, but if I wouldn't have had the chance to do that, I would have looked for a very nice used DSOM. Always loved that color and if they would have still made it in 09, it would have been a though choice...

Fun thread for a poll. Getting tired of "Please help me decide, what color vette should I buy" crap.

Cyber Grey would likely be my choice. In fact had that be available when I bought my Machine Silver I might have gotten Cyber.

dsom. got the exact 08 car i wanted ... vr. then, shortly after purchase saw a couple 05 / 06 dsom cars, and well ... life hasn't been the same since. my 1st choice remains vr, but not by much! thank goodness gm didn't offer regular schmucks a "paint to sample" option. great thread.

I have owned machine silver, and now dsom. So I picked artic white as my next color choice. Hard to decide

Favorite color for me is Black - it is so beautiful when clean - but I won't have one because of all the work required to keep it that way. Machine Silver is #2 and the color that I have (or Blade Silver).
