Default Which Would You Choose ??

If you had $4000 to spend on your car, but could only spend on "Performance" parts/work or "Bling" or Visual items which would you spend it on ??

I like the way my GS looks just fine. So if I HAD to spend $4K on it, I would definitely go with performance mods.

If wheels are bling I would go for a nice set of wheels.

If you're going fast enough, it's unlikely anyone would notice "bling" anyway...

Wheels for sure. They can really change up the look of car.

You can go back to stock in a jiffy when you want to sell.

4K huh?... wheels and tires.... that's my next move at this point. (Got my track wheels from a member out in SoCal so I'm ready to rock on that front).. just want some Nurburgring wheels for my street tires.. I guess with some really nice new sneakers that would take about 2800-3000.. I got a grand left!! ... More Carbon Fiber please!!... Front spoiler and some side skirts!!

Car's fast enough for me. I fixed the car's shortcomings. However I spent a crap load more than $4K.

Performance is both performance and bling IMO.

Bling adds no performance.

What category would Caravaggio Daytona seats come under? 'Cause the more I think about it I've probably spent more on performance type mods than bling. Or maybe there needs to be a hybrid category too? It just so happens that some of that performance is also pretty blingy. Like a carbon fiber splitter, bling or performance? EE pedal set, bling or performance? Michelin super sports are performance but a new steering wheel is bling, I guess, but, I sure like the way it feels a ton more than the OEM one. Now I'm confused. I think when I read performance I was strictly thinking engine modifications but there are more ways to improve performance than just bhp.

It's all good but there's no question about for me.....improving the car's performance does more to enhance my driving experience than the ornamental stuff.
