Motor serial number location ls3
Hi all, had a Ls3 430hp installed in my old C2. Question is where is the serial numbers located on the LS motors? Need to register it for the Warranty information just incase (all good so far). Thanks for any help!

I'm not sure where to look if it's a crate engine.

If you could stand over the engine with your feet at the back of the motor and with the front facing away from you and look down, it should be under where the fuel rail covers the furthest part back on the cylinder head on the drivers side. It is on top of the flattest surface with a slight angle to the left.
Thank you very much! GM sent me mountains of paperwork with the engine but nothing in there that says what or where the serial number is?
