The wheels look fine....life would be pretty dull if we all liked the same things. Although I use shot-peened finish 'track' wheels exclusively now, my street wheels used to be CCW wheels with a polished finish. I prefer the polished finish to chrome. The bling factor is slightly less than chrome (which I like) and the polished finish requires far less maintenance. With chrome I feel compelled to keep them shined to a mirror-like appearance and any little blemish is a major deal. With a polished finish wheel I can wash them and wipe them dry and they're good to go. I'd only polish the wheels (with a chrome polish) like once a year. They weren't chrome so I never tried to treat them like they were.

Nicely done! I also think black wheels can look really good on a lighter cover: silver, red, white... but on a dark car, chrome is the shxt!

As for the chrome wheels, it was not my preference prior to buying my '13 C6, but had no choice since that's all the dealer had in stock. I was worried it would be too much bling on a car that had utterly no chrome on it anywhere else, but it didn't take long before I decided they were in fact the best option, and the feedback I've gotten has been all positive.

Yes, let's deal with that ASAP. Bugs on the car can get you banished from the forum!

The only other chrome I have is the license plate holder, and exhaust tips. I've seen people add chrome to just about every conceivable orifice, but im good with the wheels, tips, and exhaust holder. None under the hood either.

Z, I like 'em, too! Since someone already commented on my usual comments re black chrome , I may as well stay true to form. I had polished gumbys, but made them into black chrome gumbys. And I still like them. You, on the other hand, like all types of wheel finishes. That is super. I feel so included. j/k with you. Enjoy the drive in the clean car! And wheels, too!
