Default oil smellm

I know this question has been beaten to death , several horses shed there life for this question ,but someone please figure out why a $60,000 plus corvette has to have a burning oil smell everytime the oil is changed ! Come on G M find a fix for our vettes ! It's very embarrasing for people to comment on our oil leak. Just tired of explaining .

As far as the C6 and it's problems are concerned, it doesn't exist anymore to GM...

Must be only in the dry sump engines?

10'A6 GS here I never had that smell after an oil change.

It's common, but not rampant, across the the board.

That right there is most likely the problem. When someone else does the work, you never know if it got handled correctly. Overfill and quick engine starts have lead to lots of cases of "the smell".

Check the oil level now. Suck out any excess.
