If it is only on startup and goes away it could be the head unit. Every now and again it sounds like the CD/Nav disc is loading or resetting itself.

That stinks, how cold is it where you are ? Contraction of some of the dash panels maybe ?

If it is happening when driving down the road, it could be the piece of plastic that is at the bottom of the windshield, or a missing clip.

This thread describes it, there are lots of other posts out here about it too. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...l-problem.html

It will be covered as a warranty repair, if you are still under warranty.

taking mine in Thursday under warranty along with the low beam fix and intermittent air bag light caused by the connector(?) under the driver's seat.

My guess is it's the plastic cowl piece. Mine does it every once in a while. More often when it's cold outside.

My noise was the rear dirver side speaker grill... Radio on or off, it would make noise and it was hard to decide just where is the noise coming from. This noise also would stop after 4 to 5 miles.

Also, there was / is a recall to replace the plastic strip at the outside bottom of the windshild due to vibration. That may be your problem! Mine was not causing an issue but I had it replaced anyway.

I have the base so I don't have those issues.
