I would like to clean under my car. Was wondering if Engine Brite is safe to get on the fiberglass springs.

Never used it on any of my Corvette's, but I would read the label and see what it says. If it were me and my engine needed a good cleaning, I would go with Simple Green 50/50 with water in a spray bottle.

I'm not 100% sure what was used but someone here used an aluminum polish spray to brighten the A-arms and his composite leaf did fail. I'd err to the side of caution and not do it.

GM doesn't recommend using wheel cleaner for fear of getting it on the mono spring let alone engine cleaner. Simple green and lots of water would be as strong as I would go.

Those engine cleaner products are very caustic...I don't use them anymore, even on an engine. I use 409 and find that it works very well. Simple Green is the same kind of thing...much easier on the surface than a Gunk product.

My engine is clean its the area around the wheels that need the cleaning.
