Default What wheels are these?

Hello guys, joined the forum because my dad has a Vette. He has an extra set of wheels but doesn't know what they are called or what model they came off of. I appreciate your help.

Gumby's, because the spokes kinda resemble the cartoon character. They came out mid model year 2008 and lasted a couple years as a $2000 option. When they first came out, they were polished aluminum. They were advertised as forged as opposed to simply being cast.

The inside has an etching that says SUPERALLOY.SAI.18.8.5 DOT-T J-TYPE A
03773, 05/14/08, TAIWAN (GM LOGO) 9597340

I tried searching for them with those numbers and still no luck. So it was just an additional wheel option? He posted them for sale locally for $850 would you say that's good or can he get more out of them?

Those are GM, it was a popular style, as there are plenty of reproductions. The inside etchings varied over time, as it seems they had different vendors. He might get $850. But that's a price he could have gotten 5 years ago when they were at the zenith in popularity. 850 is not a crazy price if they are perfect. Just depends on how patient he is on waiting for a buyer.

Yup, Superalloy is a forging company in Taiwan that made those wheels OEM for GM. I can't help on the price, but those look like chrome and not the polished aluminum finish...worth more than the polished.

Also, two should be 18 x 8.5" and the other two 19 x 10", they certainly look perfect if they are all like the one in the picture. Those chrome center caps are somewhere around $100 each from GM.

Just so you know.....they look chrome in the picture. If that's the case, the official GM option code was "Q9V". Prospective buyers might know them by that code so you should know it.

Great info from everyone, thanks. I hope he can sell them for the listed price.

The rear are 19x10 like cclive said and all 4 wheels are in perfect condition, the car had 9,000 miles when my dad got it and he changed the wheels out before picking it up from the dealership.
