Question on C6 Drilled and Slotted Chromium Brake Rotors
I had a question on these Chromium Colored rotors. Are they worth the money $499 per set ? Supposedly they last much longer than regular ones and they don't rust. I wonder if the color stays on the part that rubs against the pads ? Anyone have any thoughts or input ? Thanks for any help.

I don't see any info (meaning part numbers, pics, etc.) to comment on. When you edited your post, did you accidentally remove it?

Here's a link to the site selling them if this helps you. I wasn't sure if it's worth it. http://www.corvettemods.com/C6-Corve...4_p_10316.html I was thinking of the black ones.
gotcha Hoxxoh and irok say it well, meaning, the only part that will retain the color is around the hub, and it would have to contaminate the brake pad while wearing off the pad surface coloring.

I've seen that seller's name on here before but it's always a good idea to check before you buy. jmo

Dang...too bad that the color will wear off as these would look cool against any black wheel combo. Would be interested to see these on a car and how they hold up

Sounds to me then the 500 bones are better spent elsewhere for now. The brakes aren't critical now.
