Default Tires for 2007 Corvette

Have not had a Corvette in a while. Purchased a 2007 Corvette. Is it normal to have different tire sizes on the front from the back? Have P245/40 on the front and P285/35 on the rear. Please advise.

you can "google" how to decipher the tire code, which will tell you when the tires were made. if they are 7-8 yrs. old, then its prudent to replace them. get some Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 non-run flats.

Check the date code on the sidewall and if they're too old, get some Firestone Wide Oval Runflats. Great tires!

Tire Rack has all the info you need on their site. First you need to decide if you need new tires based on age and/or tread depth. Then you need to decide if you want runflat tires or not. Then after that, you can decide on the brand and model of tire.
