Default ZR1 Caliper Powdercoating

Hi

I consider to upgrade to ZR1 brakes on my Z06. I would like to keep the style of my Z06 with the red calipers. Why are red ZR1 calipers so much more expensive than the grey or blue ones? It would still be cheaper to buy blue or grey ones and powdercoat them red.

Has anybody know a place to powdercoat the calipers? And how can I get the decals back on the calipers?

For tips, I would be very grateful

Kind regards

Unfortunately Mike has downgraded his powder coating business. He stopped being a Vendor here last year and his website says he is not taking on any NEW customers.

Wow. That was unexpected. Mike just coated a set of calipers for me last year.

Oh well. Best to Mike.

Streetwerkz (http://streetwerkz.com/ ) in Columbus Ohio did mine. Quick turnaround and excellent work. They can do anything up to a full frame.

Thank you very much for your inputs. It's very pity that the powdercoater stopped his business. He did great work on calipers that I saw here in the forum

Does anyone know how the decals on the oem Zr1 calipers are mounted..are these stickers or are they painted on? How did you got them back on the caliper after powdercoating?

Kind regards from Switzerland
Francis

Doesn't TPSMak do caliper powder-coating as well?
