Just placed an order for a Carbon Fiber C6 license plate cover and noticed in the picture of the item, it is blocking the month and year expiration stickers, you place in the bottom right and left corners of the plate.
I think that it would lead to an infraction and get me pulled over.
Why are they making these and many others just like them, if that's the case ?
Is it OK to block these ?

Different states, different sticker locations perhaps?

I'd think your premise is correct...if sticker is block...and excuse for a leo to pull you over.

I would think it wouldn't be a big deal, don't most states have the scan system anyway where they can run your tag showing valid insurance registration? A lot of the license plates frames do cover them up tho, I know mine does, kinda sucks but you can clearly see the plate numbers. Some people run those tinted plate covers now those seem like people are asking for trouble as it's very hard to read a tag.

Not every state has stickers on their plates. Texas doesn't; the sticker is on the windshield, thus, no need to worry about blocking that location on the plate.
