C6 Headlight Replacement Lenses

Umnitza,
I assume these will be identical to the factory lenses in terms of dimensions, shape and lens radius? Do you have a time frame as to when some more technical specifications will be available for the replacement lenses? I plan to support you guys but would like to know a little more about the product before that.

What type of UV coating will be used and what type of warranty if any will be given on that coated lens from the typical yellowing, hazing, cloudiness, peeling and crazing...
Thanks
Thanks

They will be coated with the same coating all the other types of lights we get from this factory. Attached is the kind of quality you can expect. This is a $2000 headlight.

You do not discuss other vendors in a vendor's thread. Also, forum rules for what a forum member may post in a sales thread still apply.
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...le-thread.html
Other vendors do not post in another vendor's thread unless the 2 vendors are working together on a common project.

There also are rules that apply just to vendors, such as that you must not post in a thread started by another vendor unless the post addresses a project that each of you are cooperating on. Further, you may not make any direct or indirect reference to the products or services offered by a rival vendor. Instead, we encourage you to use the Forum to market and promote the attributes of your offerings.

Thank you all for the support.
I didn't intend to ruffle feathers, and as the "new guy" we are here to make friends.
We can all work together because of the superior quality that we will build.
Judging by certain images seen already, I can unequivocally say the following:
1) We will not be doing much writing on the lenses that we produce, they will be completely clean
2) They will have some benefits over OEM that were not available before or by anyone else.
3) They WILL absolutely be lower priced and higher quality than anything that can be produced currently given our history with this factory.
Finally and most importantly.
We now have 6 Kickstarter backers and another 5 people on the back order list that have pre-paid completely.
Coupled with some vendors that are interested in a bulk orders, we're moving quickly - and admittedly quicker due to competition (good for you guys).
Stay strong folks!

I Decided to call Umnitza yesterday because I had questions about the headlights and how the kickstart works. I talked to Tim who was very informative and I decided to pull the trigger and put $100 down. I was surprised to find out they were a local company (Bay Area) He answered all of my questions and also reassured me any install assistance

Wanted to clear the air a little further on this.
We have already funded 15K of this project ourselves. The parts are in the hands of the factory (original) and will be finished shortly.
The Kickstarter campaign is a better way to speed up this project.

Please forgive the left turn I'm about to make away from the subject of C6 replacement lenses. I noticed in your video the installation of what appear to be Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp (CCFL) halo lights during the lens change. I might be interested in including them in my rebuild. Unfortunately the PDF from your web site is rather fuzzy and I couldn't find any pricing information for C6 CCFLs. Can you elaborate?

In that video, we installed a competitor's product that we would not necessarily recommend (or name) but it's not "finished" looking enough.
We do however sell our own version of the rings that looks (again in our opinion) vastly superior.

- YOU FORGOT ONE EMOJI
Yes, the video you have been privy to is something we created in house.
We offer halos - we believe to be the brightest and best in the world
https://www.umnitza.com/orion-v2-led...2005-2013.html
We offer Carbon Fiber inserts - though often out of stock, we can offer a group buy to forum members if enough are interested as part of this service:
https://www.umnitza.com/cfwerks-c6-c...ht-insert.html
We offer new seals (when you do it in house with us).
And we'll offer all those doing this job 2 price levels that are a little bit better than usual as part of this production - as you know Corvette's come with 2 different types of sealant - one that takes 1 hour to open and one that takes 3+

Update 10/28/2017
Due to SEMA please allow a little time to reply.
--
We have 10 "official" backers on Kickstarter.
We have 4 formal full price deposits on our site.
We are continuing to work with vendors and won't be disclosing actual numbers of those yet.
We have a rapid prototype being completed end of next week as a preliminary "something to show you" and then we'll do some final mock ups and do a finished rapid prototype.
Things are rolling along!

@naldinator - you don't have to pony it up, you can go to kickstarter and it holds the money in escrow
12 Kickstarter backers
1 more direct order
RP#1 should be ready next week - a little delay due to SEMA
This is just ours, our partner has more of course. Keeping you in the loop

so if the project doesn't go you get your money back from escrow??
