Its time to add a little more sound on the car, just cant decide which route to go. The akrapovic slip on system, leaning towards the titanium tips, or the corsa. The thing i really like about the akrapovic is i can keep the m2w switch. Any opinions?

I recently installed the Akrapovic. It sounds awesome. And as you pointed out the m2w switch works for those early mornings leaving for cars and coffee without waking the neighbors.

How much did you pay. I found the "slip on" for $850. It seems as if the akrapovic is quiet. Is it ? Whats your overall opinion

Just curious, what makes you say that? I have the Corsa on my car and I have a cracked can so I'm going to be replacing it soon and I'm interested in this input. My Corsa sounds great but it is extremely loud.

The Akrapovic has a very unique F1 formula sound unlike the rest. Just loud enough to know its present from others.

Craftsmanship is beyond as well.

Thanks for the response. Now I just need to determine if the slip on will mate up to my current pipes or if I need to buy the whole kit.

sorry guys, just an update for ya. the 850 is just the exhaust with no tips. the company was advertising the tips and exhaust as seperate. so it was 850 plus the 1450 for tips.

looks like ill just put a set of headers on the car and get rid of the cats for the same price. thanks all

Have full Akrapovic full titanium exhaust...definitely has a different sound, but sounds good. Maintained my M2W so it's quiet when I choose. Love the size of the tips!

thanks for all the input guys but i think im just gonna go this route. now just to figure out what size headers to go with. i dont plan on doing any head or cam work, only bolt ons, however im not sure what the future holds lol. any advice on what size to get, arh headers ofcourse

Good choice on the ARH headers with the npp / m2w. Just had CPR install that setup in 1 7/8. Looooove it. The ability to scatter pedestrians and then close it up for quiet highway cruising is awesome. At a later time you can always do the Akra. I may still head that route some day. Good luck.
