LG Motorsports GR7 Wheel Set

We have tested this wheel on track using Super Sport and Cup II tires pushed to the limits without issue. Great for street and weekend track cars alike!

WHEELS HAVE ARRIVED!
I will say there was a change I didn't know about, all wheels are finished in GLOSS BLACK, not satin as originally planned which we had gotten a lot of comments about doing them in gloss rather than satin.
Those of you with deposits down, we will be calling you shortly to collect the balance. Those of you on the fence, the $100 off for pre-orders will expire tomorrow end of day.

Now, we chose to do a pressure casting just like the OEM wheels so that it can be done affordably and retain as much strength as possible. Pressure casting does allow you to make the spokes and other bits slightly thinner than a traditional casting saving some weight but it also makes the material more dense so it is stronger as well.
Forging on the other hand is extremely dense, extremely strong and much more expensive to do because of how it is made and the waste produced when machining it (not to mention the machine time).
So while a Forged wheel might be 2-4 lbs a wheel lighter given the same size and stronger, costs are going to typically be 3-4 times as much. Where as these are $1495/set a typical ForgeLine or HRE will be that PER WHEEL, not per set.
Just depends on what you are looking for and what you are after with the car. Those 18-19-20lb wheels are nice, but they are going to be in a completely different price range.
