I wanted to take a minute to personally thank Josh for answering my questions on the forum and on the phone. I just finished installing an A&A YSI kit which we did a lot of custom stuff with. It was even more interesting because it was a C5 kit going on my C6, which created some challenges. To make his service even more impressive, I didn't even buy anything from him as I bought the kit used.
After these results and service, I am definitely an A&A spokesman !!!

Here is a thread I made about the build if anyone is interested. The little blower that could!!!!..... 983 RWHP / 817 RWTQ..... and more in it if we wanted to push.

Wow, those are some numbers. I think your next tech support call should be to RPM.

Considering an AA kit for my Z06 , however I hear mixed reviews. I know it's about the tune, but boosting a stock z06, will it have any issues? Do you recommend?

I have a 2013 Z06 and have the A&A kit on mine Ishaven. Only problem I have had is the Boostapump going bad. I ended up getting the A&A fuel system installed. I only drove it back from the shop in the fall and then put my car in storage for the winter so I will see how she runs this summer.

I've only driven one Z06 in my life, Andy's C6Z with about 740 RWHP. Yeah, that's about 300 more than the average Z. And the only issue I could find was you better get a heart check-up and some Depends before getting into it if you aren't used to that sort of power.

I just had A&A do some minor maintenance and mod work for me on Saturday, and as always, quick, competent, and reasonably-priced service.

Default couple of questions regarding A&A cam recomendation and moving V-3 Si C6 kit to a C6

I had your C6 V-3 Si kit installed on my 2005 LS2 MN6 car back in May 2014. The kit was purchase new. I'm considering getting a 2006-2011 Z06 with the LS7 engine. What do I need in order to use this same kit on the Z06?

If I stay with the 2005 supercharged LS2 MN6 w 3.42 rear gear, what cam do you recommend for all around improved performance on the street, road race track and at the 1/4 mile drag strip. For the road race track that I use, I can drive the whole course in 3rd gear so I am looking for the most area under the torque curve from 2700-6600 rpm. That is to say I don't want to lose torque at 2700 rpm just to gain power at the top end. I want a broad torque curve, but better than would be provided with the stock LS2 cam. I also want to maintain decent idle characteristics and not have any surging or chugging when cruising in 6th gear on the highway at 1100 rpm. Is this possible?

I've had my V3-Si installed on my GS since January '14, and have put about 15k miles on it since then. All I can say is that I have a perpetual smile on my face every time i get in it.

Stock A6 '12 GS. Can't tell you how perfect this setup is for what I wanted.

Getting ready to pull the trigger on a C7... Was planning to get a Z, but for a number of reasons am now leaning towards getting a Z51 and driving it straight to A&A (via Bowling Green) for a similar setup.

Perfect choice would be our Stg 1.5 cam 220/232 .590/.590 116 LSA
Gain power across the board and easy to tune and drive in traffic.

If you swap LS2 kit onto LS7:
Need LS7 injectors.
Need LS7 charge tube.
Need LS7 PCV vent hose.
LS7 car will need a new Dewitts radiator #1139105B this will relocate the external oil cooler into the new radiator to allow room for the A&A ram-air intercooler.

I think that's it.

I'm glad you have been loving it, but I agree you should get the new Z51 and drive it straight here for A&A SC Kit install!
We've been doing them on a weekly basis with as low as 1,000 miles on them.

Josh,
The stage 1.5 cam sounds great. I didn't see it listed in your website so I'm glad you told me about it. I assume it is ground by CompCams. What series lobe is used for that cam? Please confirm this will work with the stock bottom end.

As for the swap of the A&A C6 V-3 Si kit to a Z06 LS7, will I need a different radiator or intercooler?

That cam is ground for us by CompCams.
It will work with stock-bottom end just needs matching dual springs.

I forgot that part that the LS7 car will need a new Dewitts radiator #1139105B this will relocate the external oil cooler into the new radiator to allow room for the A&A ram-air intercooler.

Only drove my car once since the A&A install and that was to drive it home, 2013 GS A6. Never really watched the oil temperature before but the tuner had it showing in the DIC and it was running around 215-218.
Outside temperature was 75 and this was within 45 minutes of the shop finishing the tune and the dyno runs. Drive home was 65-70 the majority of the distance.

Normal oil temperature?

Your '13 GS is running the factory air to water oil cooler with the brick style cooler next to the oil filter and those temps are normal.

I'm trying to spec out all costs, to get a stock c6 z06 to 600-650rwhp, what all would be needed? It looks like one of the DeWitts radiators, not sure which. Heads seem like a must on the z06's due to the valve issue.

What do you recommend from there? Headers? One of your stage 1-4 cams? Also on the cams, what's a good one for a noticeable lope without hurting "drivability" or gas mileage?
