totally depends on the header design, hang those turbos on the rear bumper vrs nice and lose to the cylinder head and it will be night and day.... think all that heat helps spool? dam straight.
At least we can agree on something The pressure differential caused by a difference in heat is what really helps spool turbos. You can combat that by choking the turbo with a smaller turbine housing or a smaller turbine exducer but you are also sacrificing max power by limiting the exhaust side.

Yeah you can but I've seen toasted exhaust valves from to much back pressure. Yeah you can do it but it just does t last long. My 76 twin spool really fast...faster then what I was expecting.
