Was kinda disappointed so I decided to do stage 2 heads, vrsc-2 cam, meth, ported stock intake/tb, big mouth filter, ect.. still kept the same pully and hit over 800hp! Now I have new rims and tires on the way cause of traction issues.
so you're the King here

good luck with it.

Is boost pressure what blows motors or the amount of power made vs.internals? I know it is both....but which is the bigger concern?

Boost doesn't matter, just cylinder pressure. People compare boost because a motor maybe similar but in the end 10psi on a 427 could be the same cylinder pressure/stress as 24psi on a 346.

I'm doin a similar set up I have fast 102 intake and throttle body with 1 7/8 lg headers no cats and I'm going wit a ecs kit wit the d1sc upgrade and meth and was wondering What pulley size you think I would need to get me 10 to 14 lbs of boost and how reliable would u consider ur car wit 700 hp stock internals.

Wow, some of you guys are cray cray on stock bottom ends.

I'm at 666, Si with meth, 3.6" pulley, stock LS3 bottom end, tuned by Andy of A&A himself. I wanted to go lower pulley and cam it, but Andy advised against it, as he tends to be very conservative.

I'd considered doing a forged 427, but I'd have to start all over on the blower.
