Default What To Expect On E85

Hey there gang. Ive had my AA 3.4 pulley sitting around and Im finally getting around to installing it. I expect to see around 11-12psi from it. One thing I thought of doing is switching over to E85. I have some 103lb (@4bar) injectors for it and my dual Walbros should be up to the task. Im wondering though how close I'll get to the 700rwhp mark. On 8.5psi i made 610/575 to the wheels on 91 octane. Will i be flirting with 700rwhp with 11.5psi and E85? Just curious. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

Stock LS3 intake
Stock LS3 heads with ported exhaust ports
Forged bottom end stock cube LS3
V2 Vortech from A&A

You might get close. If its a forged bottom end just pulley to max the blower out and back it down to what ever you feel Is safe and comfortable. Should pick up some good hp and tq.

I have the A&A kit with a V3-TI and 3.4 upper pulley. I made 671 rwhp and 536 ft/lb torque on 93 only. I am in the process of starting to install an alkycontrol meth kit. I am guessing I will be around 750 rwhp. You should not be much different on e85. This is just a guess. Best of luck and keep us updated.

Si or T-trim?

I have an Si with a 3.6" and meth and I'm at 666 RHWP on a Dynojet. Considering a 3.4" and E85, so I'll be curious as to your results.

Si V2. In the future, if...I mean when I go bigger cubes the I'll look at a T trim for sure.

I'll definitely keep you guys posted. The dyno i used for my last tune is known to read on the low side. I just used it as a tuning tool but I wouldnt be surprised if the car dynoed 620 plus on another dyno so Im pretty excited and curious what itll do on more boost and e85. 750 or anything over 700 would be awesome.

FIC1000 injectors are on the way. They flow 95lb/hr at 3 bar and 103lb/hr at 4 bar. Theyll be fed by dual Walbro 340's.

3.4 pulley and new belt went on today. Just waiting for the converter from Circle D to go along with the freshly rebuilt trans. After that it off for tuning. Can't wait.
