Will be keeping an eye on this build!
If you can do the upgrade to larger tubing now, before swapping to the larger intercooler, that would always be nice. Since then you don't have to mess with it later.
Can't wait to see this thing!

I have ditched the blower to IC piping in favor of an S pipe from Dallas Performance. Both of my BOVs are mounted on that piece.

You guys wouldn't happen to have any data from swapping to larger piping would you? I see lots of guys running F1A,C, and Rs with the standard tubing from Procharger.

Great Build ... Can not wait to see it running
very interesting thread, exactly what i've been looking for.
What size pulleys are you planning to run on that F1R?
I'm running cog drive (40 tooth blower and 81 crank) on my 427 LSX 9.4:1 Compression Ratio with 305 6-bolt mast heads. Planning on switching to a 10 rib pulley system, What size do you think will best fit my combination?

8" crank, 4.0" or 4.25" blower pullies. An F1R is gonna run out of air on a 427. Look for a 6k rpm peak and nosing over after that. 900-950 rwhp.

Well she fired right up. T-stat wasn't opening and the belt jumped over one rib. T-stat has been replaced and hopefully the shimming fixed the belt issue. Here is how she sits while we wait for the break in miles and a dyno appointment. My Welds also arrived 3 weeks early! Thanks to Chris @ Hinson for the service. I also have some black MSD wires to replace the red ones on the way.

ajrothm: Thanks for the help ... I think that I will buy both 4.00 and 4.25 if it's not that expensive and see how the curve acts on each.
EX1: Congratulations on the start up ... can't wait to see the dyno curve
