I think it's a good idea! I'm doing a 2 stage setup that is gonna be 225 total on a bolt on LS2 with stock internals. I haven't had time to dyno or tune it since I ended up getting busy with work. I ready to try it out soon as I can.

I have read the heat from the 200 shot killed these motors on pump gas but with ethanol ot burns colder then pump gas there for I kinda think she would live longer, it's tuned on a 150 now makes 560hp on a mustang dyno going back to finish it thus week with higher ethanol

I think you have the right idea. The cooling effect of Ethanol goes a long way for cast pistons. More so than a higher octane race fuel that burns hotter. Heat is certainly your enemy in this situation.

Make sure you have enough fuel pump to run a 200shot on E85. I also suggest using a progressive controller to prevent an initial lean spike. Also, I hope you're using a good nitrous plug and gap already?

Have fun with it! Let us know how you make out at the track or dyno.

lots of people do the exturnal tank and spray race gas in with biger shots but i didnt want to do it that way
i should have plenty of fuel id1000cc and a 450 pump that i just switched ,im thinking of getting a tune for the 200 and just saving the map and just switch if i have to ,do a good bit of racing on the street and track so some times i need to race some fast cars lol ,deff will keep posted of track and dyno ,going back to finish up the 150 shot and hoe to make more then 560 on a mustang dyno

It sounds like you're running a dry shot (I am too). If you are, you should try setting up the IAT resister "trick", so you can spray on the fly with a max effort N/A tune and a max effort nitrous tune. It just requires a 15,000ohm resister, 5way relay, some wires, and a switch. Makes it easy to pull timing and add fuel within the tune.

I finally got it on the dyno and sprayed for the 1st time Friday. The tuner recommended I don't go above 150 since its mostly just a street cruiser now. He said he could set it up if I really wanted it but he said this way I'm pretty safe and don't have to worry about anything. Anyway on to the #s which is what you car about haha.

Its just a bolt on LS2, I put down 365 with the stall unlocked and 526 with a 150 shot.

I'm out of town so he's supposed to send me video and dyno info soon. I'm ready to see what it will do on the track!

Not bad ,sounds like you don't have a cam? I'm manual car made 470 an 600 on a 150 shot. Trying to get my car to stop breaking to get tuned on a 225

yea, I have all stock internals. 600 was my goal with both stages but I guess ill have to be ok with what I have for now. I bet that thing is fast with 600, huh? what kind of ET & MPH gains are you getting from the nitrous?

hope you get it to hold together

I never got a gd et on spray being my first nitrous car an I was nervous to launch it but I did end up taping 136 but the car had fuel surging because the nitrous was being pulled off the oem rails an I feel that the car would have trapped even a high 140.the car has been 11.0 at 125 just on motor .it should be fine with the shot I did a fuel cell and rails an changed the controller to a progressive so it will take the hard hit off of if
