Default Weld RTS crew....what lug nuts are you using?

Just wondering what lug nuts you guys are running with your Welds? I was hoping to find something black and light. Looking at my 15s they don't look hubcentric like stock wheels.

Any recommendations?

I don't know about 15's, but my 17s use the stock lugs. In the front I use extended thread lugs because I am using a very small spacer.

15s use shank style. I'm using the 1/2" shank lugs from weld.

Weld has the specific nuts for it. I believe they are 1/2" shank, not too long. Hinson just threw them in with my order because they rock.

I had billet specialties and swapped to weld. The washer size is a better fit in the hole and doesn't scrape up the wheel or make mounting/dismounting difficult

OT but are you guys installing tpms in your RT-S wheels? I figure rear tire psi would likely be too low thus making them useless.

No TPMS? Why would a light on the dash make them useless? Plus takes ~100 miles for that to even trip. I've driven 50 miles one way, raced all day, and didn't get the check TPMS warning until on way home. Then just park next to old wheels, syncs up, and all good again. The warning is just a warning, it doesn't do anything that would effect racing.

I use mine (band strap/hanger to mount on 15" wheel). Chevy is actually ahead of many other manufactures in that they show the exact PSI, not just a dummy light. I frequently cycle through tire PSI to see when mine are up to temp when making pulls on the street

You're really playing the wrong game if a one hundred dollar expenditure requires justification.

Op - look at McGard 64002 and 60129.

RPM can help if needed. That's where I ordered my Welds.
