Project X: Airfield Event [HOU Area]
General: Registration is now open for Project X, our latest automotive airfield event concept. Project X is your chance for full throttle no speed limit driving on the Aransas County Airfield runway Sunday November 8th, 2015. The event will last one day. Driver positions are limited to street cars. The airfield address is 421 John D Wendell Rd, Rockport, TX 78382 and is roughly 2 hours driving from downtown Houston. Rainout date will be in 2016. Project X is a fully private event not open to the public.
Format and Schedule: Mandatory drivers meeting at 9am and the runway goes hot from 10-5pm. Lunch will be provided. Driving will be unstructured. You can make single lane test passes on the runway with your vehicle or side by side passes at will. The runway will be segmented similar to the Texas Invitational but with longer shutdown. We will have our lighting system to start, independent speed lane traps with display, and win lights in place.
Registration: To drive at Project X, complete this PROJECT X REGISTRATION FORM. 30 driver max. We will handpick drivers for a balanced field. Once picked you will receive a formal invitation and will be placed on our online driver roster here. Cost is $310 per driver and $45 per guest. Your registration fee will cover driving for the day and food when served at the event. Driver and guest spots are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Sponsors: We can only put on events like Project X with your generous support. If you would like to be a part of the event as a sponsor, please email info@texasspeedsyndicate.com for additional information.
Rules, Terms, and Conditions: The rules, terms, and conditions for the Texas Invitational have been adopted for Project X. Our policy on refunds, transferability, and more are on that page. By registering for Project, you agree to be bound by all of the rules, terms, and conditions as posted there.

Another awesome event coming from TSS.... and its local which is great. It would be nice to have a 1k rwhp or less class so normal working stiffs can have a class to compete in.
I would love to make this one.

That's the concept. Overwhelming majority of the field is sub 1khp.
