I saw that he has been really happy with them. I am going six bolt for the additional clamping force not so much the added power from aftermarket castings.

Good luck with the new setup, I know once the bugs are worked out that it's going to roll hard. Your old setup on spray had to be nasty. See you at tx2k and now I expect an even worse whooping now.

Well now... this build has me excited.

Always loved your car, and glad to see its getting a "2.0" treatment.

Thank you. It sucks to have to do two builds in the same year but I was never going to be happy with the previous one. This time around, there won't be so many different sets of hands touching it and then it goes straight to AMP to be dialed in. The car did indeed roll the F out on the nitrous but I ended up never using it as swappig head gaskets afterwards was a very strong deterrent lol.

Thank you. Now hook it up with an F1X! Haha. I'll be sure to keep you guys updated.

Progress was slowed by a huge blizzard that hit Texas but the motor is out and will be at the machine shop on Monday for teardown. New bearings, rings, and of course the LSX block. Should hopefully have the new shortblock ready for install in two weeks but we will see.

I have gotten a lot of PMs regarding my darton sleeved LS7 block. Yes it is for sale but I cannot answer any measurement questions until it has been cleaned up. Current bore is 4.130 and this block does have the wet 1000+ hp sleeves installed. Sleeve cost alone was $1400 +$800 in install and machining of the sleeves, so I have over $3800 in this block. Serious buyers PM me and we can work something out. Also interested in trades +\- cash for an F1X Procharger, LSX LS7, MAST 305, or PRC 285cc LS7 heads.

Motor is at the machine shop right now. Waiting on an email from Richard @ WCCH regarding some All Pro LSW 12-1 Retro heads.

Cam specs for this build - 239 25X 66X 65X on a 116. I'll have to verify them later.

Moving fast!

Spoke with Richard @ WCCH, super nice guy and was great to deal with. He set me up with a set of Brodix BR7 heads with his CNC program. He said they should be done in around 2 weeks, which is right about the time the shortblock should be ready.

Had no issues, makes good power, been reliable, run well. So thumbs up from me.

I run Ti intake and Solid SS exhaust in mine.

You are only the second person I have talked to with them on boosted setup. They were going to be a good deal cheaper than other options, but my tuner hates them. Not sure why but with the amount of 1000+ Procharged cars they crank out, I just stuck to the recipe.
