NT05R - Not Bad! Hooks 1st gear 650 RWHP
Well 305/35/19 tire I never thought I'd see it grab. Granted from a dig or 20 MPH no it won't grab but a 1st gear slam at speed (30/35ish) I was kinda surprised.
26psi, 84 degrees out (gotta love FL in winter) and that was all I needed was warmer pavement. Had to shut it down merging onto a straight on-ramp but you get the idea...
For the "mild build guys" (like me) with blower, headers, meth not a bad tire. Ran it through some light rain as long as you're "not stupid" it handles decently. I didn't have the car going all over the road like others would make it out to believe. Sure hit a big water puddle you're in trouble but basic mild wet roads it behaves great.
Anyways...yeah...video...and don't mind the air/fuel I'm getting it retuned I see it's leaning out...

yeah well the sensor is on a delay but still I was kinda surprised to see that to be honest...off to get a re-tune. It was fine in the 45 degree weather...it's not happy in 85 degree weather.
Either way lean makes more power and she still grabbed

that 2nd gear is crazy quick too!
they're probably the best tire you can realistically drive on the street imo. They age pretty bad though, so the final 1k miles on them is maybe 60% as good as the first 3k miles, or something like that. I've only heated them up with a burnout once at the track and that had a dramatic improvement where my car went from not hooking any part of third gear to hooking all of third gear. Sweet spot for street driving with max straight line grip does seem to be about 25psi for me too
I've been thinking a "ghetto traction control" could be to set the dashlogic to show the % throttle on the HUD or DIC? and then just aim for the max % of throttle to be applied in 1st and 2nd gear and target that

I would think it would get more rich if hotter out and air less dense?

I don't know how much validity I put into DashLogic's output of the wideband to be honest with ya...I'll have it tuned again at some point and take a peak.

MTs are far superior tire and work great on the street. Nittos are good though.

Mine used to go leaner at higher temps too. Some tune adjustments should get you fixed right up

Thanks...that's the B&B Fusion with the the valves closed (e.g. quiet mode). Really let's you hear the blower. Sounds like a whirl wind or a treadmill conveyor belt at full tilt
Here's how they sound valves open (less blower sound more engine sound)...second half of clip is inside my car down the Federale Expressway en Mexico.

Burning Brakes
You're lucky then I am, I used to have to roll into it in 2nd gear for it not to break loose. If I just stabbed the pedal it would fry the tires instantly when I was at 623whp N/A

Burning Brakes
I have Nitto Invo's, about to put in some boost when my Maggie gets here. I guess they will be a problem. I did install a Vitasse throttle controller and am curious if I can dial in some lag with it to help with keeping some traction. I'll let everyone know how that works out.
