That bolt looks pretty cheap. Maybe it's different in real life.
Would an LS7 ARP bolt work?

Is that ECS kit different than the current ones? For mine the AC tensioner is connected to some of the supercharger bracketry.
It's much easier to install that part now while you have easy access.. so I would look into that. I'm not sure if you've messed with the supercharger parts or not yet.
Maybe your SC kit is different than mine since it's a bit older. Just a thought.

I would talk to ECS and see about getting the newer style tensioner and bracket. It is adjustable and you can use a regular ratchet to open it instead of having to use that tool they included in the box
See what they think
Either way that does get assembled to the lower passenger side of the timing cover.. probably easier to do now.
You also need to make sure the tensioner bracket you have is for an overdrive balancer if that's what you have. Otherwise the tensioner can hit the balancer and damage it if the belt ever were to break.

Latest pics. Awaiting some parts I ordered like a steam vent kit and a few bolts for the ac HD tensioner.

The build is complete. However, we are getting no oil pressure upon startup. We tapped the port next to the oil pump and used a garden sprayer to fill the motor with about 2 quarts. I suspect that I should have used oil priming port instead. I have ordered the fitting and will try again. Fingers crossed
