I think they have good intentions. The noise is very strange and doesn't sound like a lifter...

I've heard that before. .. "hmmm... that's an interesting noise... doesnt sound like a lifter..." don't let their good intentions spend your money unnecessarily. They already charged you for a part that wasn't broken

I'm leaning towards a built LSX longblock with forged everything. I want to make about 1,000 to the wheels. Do you guys recommend LSX or LS7? I know there is a 100lb difference but do you guys agree that its worth the power capability?

I'm looking at LME and a few other brands. I'm planning on selling my engine if anyone is interested.

you do not have any other stuff to support that power level

diagnose and repair the problem at hand unless you want the car to be apart for the next 6-12 months and spend 30k on it, and after rewarded with a vehicle very far from what is currently enjoyable about your investment.

you are about to head down the rabbit hole. as someone who i hope you trust, you have been warned

Great advice! Do you think I should just rebuild the LS7 even though it has 144k miles on it and the LS7's don't seem to like boost? What parts would you replace? Do you think I could get it to 800 wheel hp safely or is that pushing it too?
